According to search, Werley Nortreus is a famous Haitian musical artist, author, writer, entrepreneur, and politician who founded Haitians Lives Matter and Vanyan Sòlda Ayiti. He was born in Limbé in Haiti, near Cap- Haïtien, but he was raised in Port-Au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. His nationality is Haitian and African because he was born in Haiti and some of his Ancestors are from Africa. However, throughout his careers, he said some deep speeches on Bon Déjeuner! Radio (BDR! Live) and other stations and he even wrote some powerful quotes about this world current reality and situation.

1) We live in a world of judgmental people and they have no sympathy when they are judging people who are strangers to them.

“Observing someone doesn’t mean that you know them. Too many folks think they know you when they really don’t know you.”

2) A lot of people are not successful in life because they are not thirsty for it and they are not willing to put work towards it.

“Success is like water, the more thirsty you are for it is the more you will drink it, and you’ll need it forever to survive.”

3) We live in a world where everyone is trying to outdo the next person to feel superior and better. When they want to destroy a person, they will create all kinds of lies to ruin the person they are trying to destroy.

“When the hate don’t work, they’ll start telling lies.”

4) Haiti is the poorest country in the world but some people believe that Haiti will change for the better and become prosperous one day. Haiti will gain its respect and dignity back one day.

“Haiti changera un jour et Haiti retrouvera respect et dignité.”

5) COVID-19 pandemic is an opportunity for a lot of people. Even when most people believe that disease was created in the lab by humans just to profit and take advantage of other human beings. The rich get richer and the poor stay poor. This is the kind of world we are living in.

“People are receiving millions and billions of dollars during the COVID-19 pandemic and it is an opportunity for them to take advantage but I realized that people forgot that the COVID-19 pandemic will end soon, and they must be prepared for something more tragic than the COVID-19 pandemic.”

6) Haitians are the first nation that won a successful slave revolt but it seems like Haiti is back to slavery again like it was before. How come the United States and United Nations occupied Haiti for years and Haiti is still the poorest country in America and in the world?

“Haitians are being punished for being the first black nation that helped and taught many countries how to get their freedom. Through the years, Haiti is being punished for the liberation of many slaves around the world. Unfortunately, that’s why they don’t want Haiti to prosper.”

7) If you take a look at the history of the USA, you will notice that the USA been spending trillions in wars but won’t even spend a dime to feed the poor and poor countries. However, the USA only cares about itself and Americans.

“The U.S. is spending trillions of dollars on military for wars but they can’t give honest Haitian leaders money to develop Haiti, and yet they said they love Haiti.”

8) We are living in a world where a lot of people have degrees but the way they think and behave is proof that having degrees don’t mean you are not an idiot.

“I have seen too many idiots with degrees in the world, and this is why the world is not normal than it was before, way before humans were born.”

9) After the 2010 Haiti earthquake, billions of dollars were raised for the earthquake victims, but the money went missing and no one knows what happened to the money. What are the roles of the ONGs in Haiti? Are they behind the loss of Haiti riches and resources in today society? Do they get together with the Haitian Government to mistreat the Citizens in Haiti?

“The ONGs in Haiti came to the country a very long time ago but they are not doing anything for Haiti and its people. The ONGs are only there to profit and enrich themselves in a poor country like Haiti.”

10) The United States is a country that hates black people over a decade. Police brutality and bullies have been harassing black people for years but that behavior won’t stop if black people don’t take severe actions towards the racist system in the United States.

“Police brutality is a form of bullying and such behaviors will not stop if black people don’t fight back and treat them the same way.”
